Your guide to getting around Lusaka

TAXI

 

Taxis are readily available at the airport and throughout the city. Alternatively, you can use the global taxi-hailing company, YANGO is available in Zambia. Make sure to download the app, but remember to have some cash for when you take trips.

BUSES

 

Public buses and mini-buses, locally known as "kombis," are affordable means of getting around within the city. Be sure to ask locals or your accommodation for guidance on routes.

CAR RENTAL

 

Renting a car provides flexibility for exploring Lusaka and its surroundings. Several international and local car rental agencies operate in the city such as Avis and Europcar.
